I received my training as a Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition's cutting-edge Health Coach Training Program.
During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.
My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health. Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.

The Institute for Integrative Nutrition is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories—combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods.
I am affiliated with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP)

Prior to Health Coaching...
I worked in Client Relations and Event Marketing for approximately 10 years in the Travel and Hospitality Industry. I loved this part of my life--I traveled, met interesting people and developed excellent professional skills in the corporate arena. I also met my wonderful husband!
I married and shortly thereafter had my first child, and then within the next 4 years two more children--three wonderful boys! My second son was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2 and a whirlwind of early intervention services began, and a passion for early intervention and natural wellness began. With three small children, I went back to school for my master's degree in education, specializing in early childhood intervention and special education. My focus was on helping other children with special needs and their families, not only with their education and therapeutic goals, but with their lifestyle choices. This whirlwind though, threw me and my family out of balance, but with the support of my husband, lots of research and a special group of friends, and finally finding the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (the world's largest & foreward thinking nutrition school) I have been able to fully embrace my inner self and my outer self to find natural balance and fulfillment.
